What do Ministers Pay?

Please Note: Submitting a booking request on PastorStays doesn't guarantee the dates requested. Our generous hosts will either confirm or deny the request based on their specific availability. PastorStays will send update emails during this process.

Discounted Nightly Rate

Some homes will charge a discounted nightly rate that will range from 50% - 100% off the normal nightly rate. If the home is is offering a 100% discount, their will be no nightly rate charged.

Cleaning Fee

Each listing sets its own cleaning fee, which is paid directly to the host. This fee covers the cost of cleaning and preparing the space for your stay. It is important to note that the cleaning fee is non-refundable after 72 hours of your booking being confirmed. This policy allows us to honor the time and energy invested by our hosts.

Stripe Fee

Ministers will be charged a 3% processing fee on all bookings. This fee is paid to our payment processor Stripe, and is not collected by PastorStays.

Donations

During our reservation process, you will have the opportunity to contribute and support this ministry. This is your chance to help sustain and further the mission of PastorStays.

Additional Host Fees

Hosts have the option to charge additional fees for specific services or circumstances, such as pet fees, late check-out fees, and peak season surcharges. These fees will be clearly listed on each listing page and, if applicable, the host will directly invoice you for these charges. It's important to note that these fees are separate from the PastorStays platform and should be paid directly to the host.

Scholarships

We understand that there may be situations where a minister needs a scholarship. If you require financial assistance, please contact us at hello@pastorstays.com. We are committed to not turning away any minister who needs help.

Cancellation Policy

Full Refund: Pastors will receive a full refund if they cancel their reservation within the 72 hour grace period of the request being confirmed.

No Refund: Cancellations that occur after the 72-hour grace period of the booking request being confirmed are nonrefundable. This is to honor our hosts' generous donation of their home. Exceptions may be considered for extenuating circumstances, subject to review by PastorStays.

Damage Responsibility

While staying at a PastorStays property, you, as the minister, are solely responsible for any damages caused during your visit. We kindly ask you to treat the host's property with care and respect. In the event of any damage, PastorStays will collect the necessary fees from you and ensure that they are given to the host to cover any repair or replacement costs.
