Contribution Information

For those who contribute to PastorStays, thank you for your generosity and support for ministers and their families. Stripe will send you a confirmation of your donation. If you need further information, please email randy@pastorstays.com.

 

How do I contact someone at PastorStays?

To reach our friendly and dedicated PastorStays team, reach out via our contact form. We make it a priority to respond as quickly as possible, often within just a few hours during business hours. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is always available to assist you.

Is my gift a tax write off? 

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, financial donations or gifts to PastorStays are tax-deductible. Please note that in-kind reservation rates reserved by pastors are not considered tax write-offs by the IRS.

What secure payment methods are used?

Our platform integrates with Stripe, a third-party payment gateway, to process payments securely. Hosts receives the cleaning payment directly from users through this functionality.

What is the cancellation policy?

For Ministers


Is this only for pastors or all ministers?

PastorStays serves credentialed, evangelical ministers, including bivocational ministers, missionaries, associates, parachurch leaders, district/network leaders, and others.

How much does the minister pay?

Ministers pay the cleaning fee, which is determined and set by the host of the property. As well as the payment processing fee sent to our processor Stripe. A minister may also pay a nightly fee as determined by each listing. PastorStays is 100% donation based organization and do not charge the minister a fee. However, the minister or their church can always make a donation to help PastorStays provide this ministry.

Is there financial assistance available? 

We understand the financial pressure that can come with ministry. As a result, we want to offer our support to any credentialed, evangelical minister who may be struggling financially. If you are in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to share your story with us by contacting us at hello@pastorstays.com. We are here to help and support you in any way we can.

For Hosts


Does PastorStays integrate with other platforms?

We currently offer the ability to integrate your calendar functionality with other platforms. This will allow these calendars to sync on a regular basis and help avoid any conflicting bookings for your property. The PastorStays team is constantly looking for ways to improve the product and we hope to have more integrations soon.

What if there is damage to the property?

Ministers are expected to report and pay for any damage incurred during their stay. Hosts have 14 days to report unresolved damage issues to PastorStays, providing photos and estimates or invoices for repairs. Submit a request here.

How does the host communicate with ministers? 

PastorStays offers a chat feature to facilitate communication. You can easily communicate specific rules of the house, the check-in process, and any other important information that may enhance their stay. In addition to practical matters, our chat feature also allows hosts and ministers to express gratitude and share prayers. 

How does a host block out dates?
